Senior WordPress Developer

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, as well as customizing existing themes to meet specific client needs. This role demands a technically proficient professional who can handle all aspects of WordPress development, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, and security enhancements. The successful candidate will be proactive in ensuring websites are fast, secure, and fully responsive across various devices and browsers.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to client requirements.
- Customize and modify existing themes to fit project specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting both front-end and back-end functionality.
- Optimize website performance through effective caching, image optimization, and database management.
- Implement security best practices such as SSL configuration and malware prevention.
- Ensure websites are mobile responsive and compatible across multiple browsers.
- Provide remote support outside regular office hours when necessary.

Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
- Strong expertise in custom theme and plugin development, including Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), custom post types, and custom taxonomies.
- Experience customizing popular themes like Astra and Divi.
- Ability to diagnose and fix issues related to plugin conflicts and theme bugs.
- Skilled in performance optimization techniques such as caching tools (WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache), minification, and lazy loading.
- Knowledge of security protocols including SSL implementation, malware prevention, and site hardening.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Understanding of SEO principles and responsive web design.

Location and Work Arrangement
This is an onsite position based in DHA Phase 5, Lahore, with occasional remote work available after office hours.

Job Type and Compensation
This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary ranging from Rs90,000 to Rs200,000 per month, depending on experience and skill level.
