SEO Executive

KM Ustawana International (KMUI) is seeking a motivated and data-driven SEO Executive to join our team in Islamabad on a hybrid work model. This role is ideal for candidates located in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, or nearby areas who have a passion for enhancing brand visibility through Google and AI-powered search platforms. The successful candidate will take full ownership of KMUI’s SEO strategy, working closely with the content team to optimize the brand’s presence across traditional and emerging search engines.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end SEO execution, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO activities.
- Support and implement AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies to ensure KMUI is featured in AI-driven search results such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research, analyze search intent, and perform competitor and content-gap analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Perform technical SEO audits and resolve issues related to site speed, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, site structure, and redirects.
- Optimize website pages, metadata, internal linking, and content structure to improve search engine rankings and user experience.
- Lead link-building campaigns and digital PR initiatives to enhance KMUI’s domain authority and online reputation.
- Manage KMUI’s Google Business Profile, local SEO efforts, and overall online brand presence.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics including rankings, traffic, conversions, and AI visibility using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
- Collaborate with the Content Strategist to develop SEO briefs that include target keywords, search intent, and content structure for web pages and blog posts.
- Stay updated on the latest search algorithm changes and AI search trends, applying insights to continuously refine KMUI’s SEO strategy.

Required Qualifications
- Between 6 months to 2 years of hands-on SEO experience; internships with real project exposure will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of keyword research, technical SEO, and link-building best practices.
- Basic knowledge of AEO and GEO concepts and how AI search tools surface and cite brands.
- Proficiency in SEO and analytics tools such as Ahrefs or SEMrush, Google Analytics (GA4), and Google Search Console.
- Fundamental understanding of HTML, CMS platforms like WordPress, and structured data implementation.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights and clear reports.
- Good written communication skills, eagerness to learn, and a proactive approach to ownership and problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience using Screaming Frog or similar website crawling tools.
- Exposure to SEO for corporate, B2B, or multi-vertical brand websites is a plus.
