We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join Soul Pantry and lead efforts to enhance our organic search presence while driving ecommerce sales growth. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in ecommerce and consumer brand SEO, combining traditional optimization techniques with innovative AI-driven search strategies. This role requires developing and executing comprehensive SEO plans that improve search rankings, increase organic traffic, and contribute directly to revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SEO strategies focused on boosting organic traffic and ecommerce sales.
- Improve keyword rankings across product pages, collections, and content assets.
- Optimize the website for Google Search as well as AI-powered search platforms such as AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, and others.
- Conduct detailed keyword research, competitor analysis, and content planning to support SEO goals.
- Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to indexing, crawlability, page speed, and Core Web Vitals.
- Manage technical SEO elements including Schema markup, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, redirects, and internal linking structures.
- Collaborate closely with content creators, developers, and ecommerce teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated effectively.
- Develop and execute backlink strategies to improve domain authority and search visibility.
- Monitor SEO performance regularly and provide comprehensive reports with actionable insights.
- Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and emerging AI SEO trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of SEO experience, specifically with ecommerce or consumer brands.
- Strong expertise in technical SEO and on-page optimization.
- Experience with WooCommerce SEO.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
- Understanding of AI SEO concepts including Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Compensation and Work Arrangement
This is a remote position offering a monthly salary between Rs40,000 and Rs50,000. Flexible work arrangements are supported to accommodate different working styles.
