SEO Specialist (Paid Internship/Junior) | GLworm | Remote

GLworm is a Windows application designed to transform gamers' existing recordings into ready-to-share clips. Specifically for Valorant, it automatically detects aces, headshots, and kills, with all processing done locally on the user's PC. We are seeking a Junior SEO Specialist with some practical experience to support the execution of a six-month growth plan. This plan will focus on enhancing our website, blog, and nine different language versions to increase visibility and user engagement.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the developer to resolve technical SEO issues, including optimizing internal links, headings, hreflang tags, sitemap structure, and improving Core Web Vitals.
- Conduct keyword research using tools like Ahrefs and Semrush, and monitor search rankings on a weekly basis.
- Write and optimize content for landing pages, comparison pages, and blog articles to improve organic traffic.
- Set up and maintain Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) accounts, generating regular performance reports.
- Assist with link-building efforts through outreach to content creators, directories, and gaming communities.
- Prepare and share concise monthly reports detailing traffic trends, keyword rankings, and app installs.

Required Qualifications

- Previous SEO experience through internships, freelance projects, or personal website growth initiatives.
- Demonstrable proof of SEO results, such as improved rankings, increased traffic, or optimized pages.
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including on-page optimization, technical SEO, and keyword research.
- Excellent written English skills.
- Hands-on experience with Google Search Console and GA4.
- Passion for gaming, ideally with familiarity in Valorant and the clip/streaming community.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
