SEO Strategist

GK Hair, a globally recognized professional haircare brand with a strong international presence, is expanding its digital footprint and seeking a highly skilled Senior SEO Expert. This role focuses on leading and executing advanced SEO strategies across multiple Shopify stores worldwide. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and hands-on practitioner, capable of driving sustainable organic growth by building a robust SEO framework aligned with business revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and implement comprehensive SEO strategies across multiple international Shopify stores, including multilingual optimization.
- Conduct advanced technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to crawling, indexing, site performance, and Core Web Vitals.
- Design and optimize site architecture, internal linking, and structured data to enhance search engine visibility.
- Develop content strategies targeting both traditional search engine results pages (SERPs) and AI-driven citation platforms (AEO/LLM).
- Perform in-depth competitor analysis and identify market gaps to uncover new growth opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with content and product teams to ensure SEO-first content execution across all digital assets.
- Drive backlink acquisition through outreach, digital PR, and strategic partnerships.
- Monitor and optimize SEO performance using tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush, providing clear reports on business impact.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance keyword research, content briefs, technical audits, and reporting processes.
- Proactively identify and pursue new SEO opportunities without waiting for direction.
- Track and report on SEO health, rankings, and traffic trends across all stores.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on SEO experience, with a strong emphasis on e-commerce.
- Expertise in technical SEO, on-page optimization, and site architecture.
- Deep knowledge of GA4 and Google Search Console, including custom reporting, attribution, and traffic analysis.
- Solid understanding of HTML/CSS fundamentals and ability to collaborate effectively with development teams.
- Experience managing international SEO and multi-market strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Proven practical experience using AI tools to streamline SEO workflows such as research, content creation, reporting, or automation.
