Service Manager PEL Service Center Sialkot

Pak Elektron Limited (PEL), a leading manufacturer of electrical goods in Pakistan since 1956, is seeking a dedicated Field Technician to join its team in Sialkot. The Field Technician will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by installing, commissioning, and servicing PEL products at various customer locations, contributing to the company’s commitment to excellence in the engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and service electrical products and home appliances at customer sites.
- Diagnose technical issues accurately and perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Maintain safety standards and follow company procedures during all service activities.
- Document service work thoroughly, including recording repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
- Manage and maintain tools and diagnostic equipment to ensure readiness for field tasks.
- Provide clear guidance to customers on product usage and care.
- Coordinate with the service team for escalation of complex issues and support continuous improvement initiatives in field service quality.
- Work independently while managing time efficiently and traveling within Sialkot and nearby areas as required.

Required Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, home appliances, and basic electronics. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics is essential.
- Practical experience in installation, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment or home appliances.
- Proficiency in following safety protocols and using diagnostic and hand tools correctly.
- Ability to maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple, understandable terms.
- Diploma or certificate in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field; vocational training or apprenticeship experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently in the field and manage travel within the designated area.
- Basic computer literacy for using service applications and reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Prior experience as a field technician or service technician in the appliances or power sector is preferred.
- Familiarity with mobile-based service systems is considered a plus.
