Service Now Developer

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating scalable, testable code and ensuring the smooth operation of various ServiceNow modules. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions while adhering to best practices and coding standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules to meet business needs.
- Configure and manage IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), and other ServiceNow functionalities.
- Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions to enhance platform capabilities.
- Create and optimize workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor, as well as develop Service Catalog items to improve service delivery.
- Develop and manage integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs to ensure seamless data exchange.
- Customize the Service Portal and user interfaces to enhance user experience and accessibility.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, perform debugging, and maintain platform stability and performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Follow ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, and deployment procedures to ensure quality and consistency.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting techniques.
- Practical experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Policies.
- Expertise in developing and managing Service Catalog and Service Portal components.
- Skilled in using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor for process automation.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST and SOAP APIs.
- Familiarity with Glide APIs and UI Actions to extend platform functionality.
