1. Mother and Child Health Care services:
a. Assist and maintain community based M&CH and RH services
b. Collaborate with other LHV for referral of possible clients for FP/PAC services and
provide birth spacing counselling services to women after delivery and abortion
2. Family Planning and Post Abortion Care Services
a. Working in partnership with families to develop and agree tailored Family health plans and
supporting Post Abortion Care
b. Implement and maintain Universal standard protocols of Infection prevention during procedures and at
facility level.
3. Coordination and referral mechanism
a. Ensures counselling session conducted by Counselors and strengthen coordination with the community
b. Promotes mother and Child health by offering advice and practical support
c. Generating and maintain effective interaction with community including other
health care professionals and utilising appropriate referral procedures.
d. Feels responsible to provide clients with correct, factual, non-biased information on healthy time of spacing of pregnancy for a healthy, happy family.
4. Reporting and Supplies demand
a. Maintain accurate day to day record and prepare weekly and monthly report.
b. Collecting, collating and analysing data to ensure that specific health targets are being met.
c. Demand RH stock from facility stock holder and keep updated record of used and balanced supplies
