Shaheen Bakers seeks a reliable and responsible Home Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent safe driving practices while ensuring timely and secure transportation of goods and personnel. This role requires a professional who can efficiently navigate routes and maintain the vehicle in good condition. With a minimum of 2 years of driving experience, you will play an essential role in supporting the company's day-to-day operations.
In addition to driving responsibilities, this position includes managing a team of 10 persons, coordinating schedules, and ensuring seamless communication between drivers and support staff. The Home Driver must have a commitment to home care services related to the role and uphold company standards for safety, punctuality, and customer service at all times.
Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and adhere strictly to traffic laws and regulations.
- Manage and ensure the team's daily tasks and routes are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Coordinate with the team of 10 persons to maintain smooth workflow and effective communication.
- Perform regular vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly to the maintenance department.
- Provide excellent customer service during home driving and home care tasks.
- Plan and optimize driving routes to maximize time and fuel efficiency.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and any incidents or delays.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods or supplies as required during deliveries.
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety, hygiene, and vehicle cleanliness.
- Support the home care requirements by ensuring timely arrivals and readiness to assist as needed.
- Train and mentor team members to promote safe driving practices and effective teamwork.
