Junior Accountant

Shaheen Chemicals is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for freshers to begin their career in accounting and finance. The Junior Accountant will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the financial reporting process. The role requires a basic understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with financial documentation. The Junior Accountant collaborates closely with senior accountants and other departments to ensure all financial activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role does not involve managing a team, making it well suited for individuals who are eager to build their skills and gain hands-on experience in accounting within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, including ledgers and account reconciliations.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
Verify the accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, and payment documents.
Maintain spreadsheets and databases using Excel for financial tracking and reporting.
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in preparing documentation for audits and financial reviews.
Contribute to improving accounting procedures and workflows to increase efficiency.
Provide support in budget preparation and monitoring under supervision.
