Shaheen Precast is seeking a diligent and dependable Housekeeping Boy for our farm house to ensure a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of experience in housekeeping and is skilled in cleaning and sanitizing various areas including guest rooms, washrooms, kitchen, and common spaces. This role demands attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards and an ability to effectively manage time and inventory of cleaning supplies. While the position does not involve managing a team, the candidate will collaborate closely with kitchen staff and other employees to provide seamless service.
The Housekeeping Boy will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and presentation of the farm house premises. Tasks include dusting, sweeping, mopping, laundry management, waste disposal, and assisting with meal service when required. Reporting any facility maintenance needs and ensuring replenishment of cleaning materials are essential duties. Strong communication skills are crucial for coordinating efforts with other team members and delivering excellent customer service to guests, thereby contributing positively to their farm house experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain rooms, washrooms, kitchen, and common areas of the farm house with attention to detail.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and disinfect floors, furniture, and fixtures regularly to uphold hygiene standards.
- Ensure guest rooms and living areas are tidy, well-arranged, and inviting at all times.
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, and ironing linens and garments.
- Refill and monitor cleaning supply inventory and promptly report shortages to management.
- Collect and properly dispose of waste and maintain waste disposal areas to prevent hazards.
- Assist in serving tea, refreshments, and meals to guests as required, supporting hospitality efforts.
- Support kitchen staff and other farm house personnel in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly to the Farm House Manager to ensure swift resolution.
- Ensure all farm house premises are kept neat, clean, and presentable throughout all operating hours.
- Adhere strictly to safety and sanitation protocols to protect the health of guests and staff.
- Demonstrate punctuality and effective time management to complete daily cleaning and housekeeping tasks efficiently.
- Maintain clear and polite communication with guests and staff to enhance the overall customer experience.
