Shanzay International is a major Pakistani manufacturer and supplier of local indigenous chemicals who has been providing materials to local as well as foreign oil well drilling companies in Pakistan for the last 40 years.
Operations Manager:
Shanzay International is looking for an operations manager who can help it mold its operations into becoming more effective, more efficient and more sustainable. The operations manager will act as a leader who supervises, coaches and inspires our employees toward adoption of advanced processes, superior performance and outputs.
The Operations Manager will be directly responsible for multiple workgroups at our work sites and will actively engage with site managers and employees to ensure that all operations under his direction are achieving excellent performance in the areas of quality, productivity, safety and sustainability.
The ideal candidate will be aware of the most efficient processes and advanced quality control methods that will help us continue to deliver our mission of being the best at what we do.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
A. Operational excellence
- Introduces mechanisms that ensure superior quality outcomes within the organization
- Introduces operational processes and designs that help us reduce wastages and minimize costs
B. Safety
- Ensures all our operations are efficient but also environmental friendly
- Participates in all safety meetings and overall training initiatives to model best practices for our field employees
- Manages damage claims to minimize any harmful impacts
C. Human Resource Management
- Ensures performance-goals are clearly communicated to the workers and managers in all work sites
- Effectively communicates and implements any relevant changes within company policy or processes
- Ensures positive recognition is occurring on good performance of field employees
