• Provide direct supervision and support to case management staff, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines.
  • Oversee the case management process, including the identification, assessment, planning, implementation, and follow-up of cases.
  • Ensure ‘do no harm’ principle in all cases being managed by the project.
  • Ensure case management practices adhere to confidentiality and data protection principles.
  • Conduct regular case reviews and audits to ensure high standards of service delivery.
  • Undertake field visits to provide technical guidance and supervision and regularly review progress against PCM targets. Regularly monitor progress of cases and ensure each caseworker is effectively carrying out case management.
  • Provide guidelines to case workers according to Donor PCM SoPs through regular individual and team meetings and case conferences/reviews.
  • Provide technical guidance and support in complex cases, including those involving high-risk individuals.
  • Liaise with the project team for support and case conferencing together with the project coordinator.
  • Conduct post monitoring survey, through the tool provided by Donor, to evaluate the quality and impact of case management by case workers.
  • Document feedback and trends regularly and trickle down the lessons learned to the case workers.
  • Ensure to keep the database updated, accurate documentation of cases according to SOPs and maintain all records in a secure and confidential way.
  • Feed the Project Coordinator in writing donor’s reports.
  • Identify gaps in services or risks shared by the beneficiary and report these to the Project Coordinator.
  • Identify training needs and provide ongoing capacity building and mentorship to case management staff.
  • Develop and deliver training modules on relevant protection topics, including case management, psychosocial support, child protection, gender-based violence (GBV), and legal assistance.
  • Collaborate with other protection actors to ensure a coordinated response.
  • Participate in protection coordination meetings.
  • Support the M & E in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness and impact of case management services.
  • Prepare regular reports on case management activities, including statistical analysis and qualitative assessments.
  • Use data and feedback to inform program improvements and decision-making processes.
