We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Full Stack Developer with at least 5 years of experience to take a lead role in developing and maintaining our web applications. You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from conceptualizing and designing solutions to deploying and maintaining them.
You are a perfect fit if you are just as comfortable designing a relational database schema as you are building a responsive, interactive front-end. You will work closely with our product managers, designers, and other engineers to build high-quality, scalable, and robust software.
Responsibilities
· End-to-End Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for both back-end and front-end components.
· Back-End Mastery: Develop and manage server-side logic using PHP, particularly with frameworks like Laravel and Core PHP.
· Front-End Expertise: Implement new user-facing features and interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (such as React, Angular) along with HTML5 and CSS3.
· API Creation: Build and consume robust RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints to connect the application with other services.
· Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas (MySQL, MonogoDB) and write complex, efficient queries.
· Testing & QA: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and application stability.
· Collaboration: Work in an agile environment, participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
· Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and help drive technical best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-Haves)
· Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a full-stack development role.
· Expert-level proficiency in PHP and a deep understanding of its ecosystem.
· Proven experience with a modern PHP framework (e.g., Laravel).
· Strong front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
· Demonstrable experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework ( React, Vue.js, or Angular).
· Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), including schema design and query optimization.
· Solid experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs.
· Strong knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
· Excellent problem-solving skills, a strong sense of ownership, and attention to detail.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves)
· Experience with Docker, containerization, and orchestration (Kubernetes).
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
· Experience with cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, or GCP).
· Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (PHPUnit etc).
· Understanding of software design patterns and microservices architecture.
· Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
