She Edge is seeking a skilled Fashion Designer specializing in womens wear with a strong focus on embellishment and cutline design. This role requires a highly creative and detail-oriented individual who has a passion for transforming simple womens stitched outfits into stylish and premium-looking articles through innovative design concepts. The designer will develop unique ideas for garment construction, embellishments like embroidery, lace, stones, pearls, and tilla, as well as cutting techniques that enhance the overall appearance and marketability of basic and semi-formal dresses. This position is perfect for someone with a deep understanding of fabric knowledge, garment structure, and the latest trends in Pakistani womens wear to design apparel that is not only beautiful but also practical and production-friendly.
Responsibilities
- Create innovative and attractive design concepts for womens stitched wear focusing on embellishments and cutline details.
- Suggest and implement creative embellishment techniques including embroidery placements, handwork, lace, stone, pearl, tilla, patches, and finishing touches that enhance garment aesthetics.
- Develop and refine cutline ideas for various garment components such as shirts, trousers, sleeves, necklines, daman, and dupattas to enhance style and fit.
- Collaborate closely with production and stitching teams to guarantee the designs are feasible and practical for mass production.
- Enhance basic and semi-formal clothing articles by integrating unique design elements and premium finishing that elevate their market appeal.
- Monitor current fashion trends and customer preferences related to Pakistani womens wear and incorporate relevant ideas into new design collections.
- Lead the sample making process by providing clear directions and reviewing sample garments to ensure alignment with design vision before bulk manufacturing.
- Maintain consistent design quality, balance, and adherence to She Edges brand styling in all womens wear articles.
- Ensure all designs meet practical production requirements without compromising creativity and aesthetic appeal.
- Communicate design concepts effectively with factory teams to facilitate smooth production workflows.
- Apply thorough knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and sewing techniques to optimize design feasibility and durability.
- Continuously research new embellishment materials and innovative cutline styles to keep the product range fresh and competitive.
- Pay close attention to detail in garment finishing and overall presentation to uphold the brands quality standards.
