Stitching Floor Manager – Factory Production Unit

She Edge is seeking an experienced Stitching Floor Manager to oversee daily operations on its active factory stitching floor located in Lahore. This permanent, full-time position requires a dedicated professional with a minimum of two years of experience managing stitching floor activities within a factory setting. The manager will lead a team of 80 persons, including machine operators, stitchers, and helpers, ensuring effective workflow, adherence to production schedules, and maintenance of quality standards. The role demands strong team leadership and organizational skills to maintain discipline, coordinate with related production units, and continuously improve stitching floor efficiency. The Stitching Floor Manager plays a crucial role in assigning tasks, monitoring work progress, and upholding quality control to meet production targets. This position requires the ability to identify production issues promptly, implement corrective measures, and provide accurate daily progress reports to management. A strong understanding of stitching floor operations, worker management, and material requirements is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in womens wear stitching and those based in Lahore. The ideal candidate is proactive, responsible, and skilled in managing a large team within a fast-paced factory environment.
Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the stitching floor to ensure smooth and efficient production flow.
Assign work effectively to machine operators, stitching staff, helpers, and other floor team members based on production priorities.
Monitor each workers daily tasks, progress, and output to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Maintain discipline, regular attendance, and a productive work environment on the stitching floor.
Coordinate activities between cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing teams to optimize workflow.
Inspect stitching quality regularly and ensure immediate correction of any defects or mistakes.
Maintain clear accountability for worker assignments on specific articles and orders.
Prepare and submit daily production reports to management detailing progress and any issues encountered.
Identify and resolve delays, worker-related challenges, production gaps, and quality problems promptly.
Organize the stitching floor to remain active, tidy, and productive at all times.
Implement inventory management practices in coordination with material planning requirements to avoid shortages or delays.
Use knowledge of machine operations to guide training and handle troubleshooting as necessary.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and factory production standards.
Foster a collaborative team environment by providing clear guidance, motivation, and support to all floor personnel.
Analyze demand forecasting data to align production targets and material procurement appropriately.
