Electrical Engineer

Sheikho Steel Mill is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in electronics testing and troubleshooting, along with practical knowledge in maintenance and industrial operations. This role involves supervising a small team of three professionals to ensure efficient execution of electrical engineering projects and maintenance activities to support the companys manufacturing processes. As an Electrical Engineer at Sheikho Steel Mill, you will be responsible for diagnosing electrical issues, implementing preventive maintenance, and optimizing the performance of electrical equipment and systems. You will collaborate closely with operations and production teams to support the smooth functioning of mill processes. Your ability to lead and mentor a team will contribute to achieving operational excellence and maintaining high safety standards within the electrical department.
Responsibilities

Perform detailed testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic systems to ensure minimal downtime.
Lead and manage a team of three electrical engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and technical direction.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all electrical assets to enhance reliability.
Monitor and analyze electrical system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades.
Coordinate with production and maintenance departments to address electrical issues promptly and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and company policies related to electrical work.
Prepare and maintain detailed reports, documentation, and records related to electrical maintenance and activities.
Support procurement and evaluation of electrical equipment, parts, and tools as needed for operational effectiveness.
Assist in the design and modification of electrical systems and control circuits based on process requirements.
Conduct training sessions to equip the team with the latest industry practices and safety protocols.
