We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused Retail Shelfer to join our Retail Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining product displays, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and organized according to the store layout. This role involves assisting customers with product inquiries and supporting daily store activities to ensure a smooth shopping experience. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to stock management are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange and replenish products on shelves in line with the store layout.
- Ensure all products are correctly displayed, labelled, and priced.
- Regularly check product expiry dates, damages, and overall stock condition.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper presentation of shelves at all times.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide basic product information.
- Report low stock levels, damaged, or expired products to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation procedures to minimize waste.
- Support the team with stock counting and other daily store operations as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum education level: Intermediate preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic knowledge of product handling and stock management.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle/store products safely.
- Personal qualities such as punctuality, honesty, responsibility, hardworking nature, and a well-groomed appearance are essential.
- Immediate availability to join will be considered an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs30,000 to Rs33,000.
- Work location requires in-person attendance, offering hands-on experience in retail operations.
