Overview
Strategic Imperative:
The Senior Software Developer is directly responsible to build and maintain server-side application using Microsoft based products. The role requires a solution minded professional who is able to take technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirement through a life cycle while working independently.
Responsibilities
Primary Objectives:
- Careful consideration of business requirements
- Provide technical direction for software design
- Defect-free product feature implementation while maintaining timeliness
- Troubleshooting of existing application
Qualifications
Essential Position Duties:
- Develop high volume server –side features using C#, SQL, ADO /ADO.NET / ODBC/Entity Framework
- Proficient in fundamental Computer Science concepts and algorithms
- Full stack developer with experience with knowledge of OOP design patterns and their implementation
- Experience designing data models and creating stored procedures.
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience
- Five or more (5+) years development experience on the Web platform
- Proficient in fundamental Computer Science concepts and algorithms
- Five (5+) years’ experience with the .NET framework and C#
- Experience with IIS or another web server
Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Good analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive with the ability to learn new concepts quickly
Computer/Software/Application Proficiency:
- C#, ASP.Net
- WCF
- Windows Services
- HTML, Client and Server-side JavaScript
- Web Services
- XML
- Web API
- SQL & T-SQL
- Proficiency with SCM tools such as Jenkins and SVN
