The Crowd Controller is responsible for managing beneficiary flow, ensuring orderly movement within the facility, maintaining discipline in waiting areas, and supporting smooth service delivery. The role ensures that beneficiaries are properly guided, seated, and directed to relevant service points while maintaining an organized and efficient facility environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor crowd behavior continuously to detect and prevent potential disturbances or safety hazards.
- Implement crowd control measures during events, ensuring orderly movement and adherence to protocols.
- Communicate clearly and calmly with participants to provide guidance and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Coordinate with facility and event support teams to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or incidents, following established safety procedures.
- Assist in setting up and managing designated areas to control crowd flow and access points.
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.
- Support health and nutrition program initiatives by facilitating smooth participant management in NGO/INGO settings.
- Conduct regular inspections of event sites to identify and mitigate potential risks to crowd safety.
- Adapt crowd management strategies according to event type, size, and participant needs.
