The Internal Auditor is responsible for reviewing financial, operational, and compliance systems to ensure adherence to Shifa Foundation policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The role ensures effective internal controls, risk management, and accountability across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct internal audits covering financial, operational, and compliance areas.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop annual audit plans including field visits.
- Review internal controls and ensure compliance with organizational financial manuals and policies.
- Ensure proper documentation of audit work and sufficient audit evidence.
- Prepare quarterly audit reports for submission to the Audit Committee.
- Stay updated on audit regulations, standards, and best practices and share updates with management.
- Recommend improvements to internal controls and financial processes.
- Act as Secretary to the Audit Committee and manage stakeholder liaison.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Chairman Audit Committee.
