Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in biochemistry to undergraduate and graduate students.
Develop and update course materials and curricula to reflect current scientific advancements.
Design and conduct original research projects in molecular biology, protein chemistry, and related areas.
Utilize molecular biology techniques, protein purification processes, enzyme kinetics, and spectroscopy methods in research activities.
Analyze scientific data using advanced statistical software and data analysis tools to interpret experimental results.
Communicate research findings effectively through publications, presentations, and conferences.
Manage and maintain laboratory facilities, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and reagents.
Supervise laboratory experiments with adherence to regulatory compliance, including GLP and ISO 17025 standards.
Implement and operate Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to maintain accurate data records.
Mentor and advise students on academic and research activities, fostering their scientific development.
Collaborate with faculty members on interdisciplinary research and academic initiatives.
Ensure safety protocols and best practices are followed in all laboratory activities.
Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and outreach programs to promote the university's academic mission.
