The Assistant Professor prepares detailed scientific reports and documentation, supporting both the educational program and external medico-legal investigations. This academic position fosters a balanced approach combining teaching, research, and practical training, ensuring students gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with current forensic methodologies and legal frameworks.
Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions on forensic medicine topics including forensic pathology, medical jurisprudence, toxicology, and crime scene investigation.
  • Develop and update curriculum content to reflect current scientific knowledge and legal standards in forensic medicine.
  • Conduct and supervise original research projects focused on various aspects of forensic medicine and related disciplines.
  • Perform demonstrations or workshops for autopsy procedures, forensic toxicology analysis, and forensic evidence collection to enhance students practical skills.
  • Prepare and review scientific reports, technical documents, and forensic case reviews with accuracy and clarity.
  • Guide students in research methodology and academic writing, supporting their success in scholarly publications and presentations.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and departments to integrate forensic medicine within the broader medical education framework.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in forensic techniques and technologies such as fingerprint analysis, GC-MS applications, and histopathology.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards and legal requirements during forensic training and research activities.
  • Participate in academic conferences, seminars, and workshops to present research findings and foster academic networking.
  • Support institutional accreditation and program evaluation processes by maintaining comprehensive documentation of teaching and research activities.
