Shift Manager

As a Shift Manager at Crumble, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our retail branches during your assigned shifts. You will oversee staff performance, maintain high standards of safety and quality, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership to manage daily activities, support team members, and uphold company policies while driving sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise daily operations throughout your shift to ensure seamless workflow.
- Oversee staff activities, promoting high levels of performance, productivity, and quality standards.
- Conduct shift handovers to guarantee smooth transitions without operational disruptions.
- Train and mentor team members, ensuring clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities.
- Maintain inventory control, manage stock levels, and ensure proper handling of products.
- Enforce cleanliness and safety protocols in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Address customer complaints promptly and effectively to maintain satisfaction.
- Assist with staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and operational guidelines at all times.
- Monitor key performance metrics, including customer satisfaction and sales targets.
- Support the team in resolving any operational challenges that arise during shifts.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in shift management within the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or bakery setting.
- Strong leadership abilities combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven capability to manage high-pressure situations and team dynamics effectively.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations, including POS systems and inventory management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for customer service and delivering high-quality food products.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
