Key Responsibilities

- Manage customs clearance for imported raw materials and finished goods, ensuring compliance with local laws.
- Coordinate inbound logistics from Karachi Port to the Lahore site, including the arrangement and movement of goods from bonded warehouses.
- Handle export operations by obtaining freight charges from shipping lines and freight forwarders, clearing exported goods through customs, and arranging necessary documentation.
- Secure Dangerous Petroleum storage licenses in compliance with government regulations.
- Oversee Exworks shipments from various global locations, coordinating with vendors and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery.
- Arrange shipping guarantees and manage the collection of export documents from banks in Karachi.
- Resolve any disputes with customs authorities and update management on duty changes and Free Trade Agreements (FTA).
- Collaborate with shipping lines and agents to facilitate smooth delivery of exported goods to their port destinations.
- Follow up on legal cases with customs to minimize costs and ensure compliance.
- Post-Impex transition, maintain direct communication with vendors for import documentation and delivery coordination.
- Implement initiatives to streamline document routing to expedite customs clearance processes.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in import/export operations and customs clearance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
