Shopify Developer

GK Hair Professional, a leading global hair care brand present in over 80 countries, is looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to join its growing team. This role focuses on managing and enhancing all GK Hair Shopify stores worldwide. The developer will work closely with various departments to implement new features, maintain platform stability, and improve overall performance and user experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about e-commerce and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic global setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot Shopify stores across all operational regions to ensure a seamless and consistent customer experience. Implement new features, custom themes, and enhancements that align with business and departmental goals. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Design teams to deliver tailored experiences for different regions and product lines. Monitor and improve platform speed, uptime, and responsiveness, adjusting based on traffic, user engagement, and business needs. Integrate third-party tools and applications, including payment gateways, CRMs, and automation tools. Follow best practices in development, testing, and deployment to minimize downtime and ensure platform reliability. Respond promptly to management requests regarding store updates, changes, or new rollouts across all Shopify locations.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Two to four years of professional experience in Shopify development. Proficiency in Liquid (Shopify’s templating language), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive frameworks. Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs, custom app development, and third-party integrations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when working across departments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
Experience with Shopify Plus and international e-commerce operations is highly desirable. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, Google Analytics, and conversion rate optimization techniques is a plus.
