Shopify Developer

Figout is a dynamic company specializing in building Shopify stores for brands based in the US and UK. We are seeking a skilled Shopify developer who can write clean Liquid code, develop custom sections from Figma designs, and leverage AI tools to enhance productivity without compromising quality. This is a full-time position based on-site at Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi, with options for remote work.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop Shopify themes and create custom sections from Figma designs, ensuring pixel-perfect accuracy on both desktop and mobile devices.
- Customize existing themes, including Dawn and premium themes, using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Build Online Store 2.0 sections and blocks that allow clients to easily edit content themselves.
- Set up and configure Shopify apps, metafields, metaobjects, and collections to meet client requirements.
- Optimize store performance by improving speed and resolving layout, cart, and checkout issues.
- Utilize AI tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and repetitive tasks, while thoroughly reviewing and correcting AI-generated output.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Shopify theme development.
- Strong proficiency in Liquid, with the ability to build custom sections from scratch rather than only modifying existing settings.
- Solid skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience working with metafields, metaobjects, and Shopify CLI.
- Comfortable integrating AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor into the daily development workflow, with the capability to critically evaluate and refine AI-generated code.
- Basic knowledge of Git for version control.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when translating designs into functional store elements.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience in Shopify Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), including page speed enhancements, product page improvements, and A/B testing.
- Familiarity with headless commerce or Hydrogen framework.
- Additional experience with platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or Framer is a plus.

The monthly salary for this role ranges from Rs40,000 to Rs60,000. The position requires working in person at our Rawalpindi office.
