Shopify & WordPress Developer

K.H. Solutionz is seeking a skilled Shopify and WordPress Developer to join our team in Karachi on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, customizing, maintaining, and optimizing Shopify stores and WordPress websites, particularly those involving eCommerce functionality. This role requires a developer who can deliver high-quality, responsive, and secure websites while ensuring excellent performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and customize Shopify stores and themes using Shopify Liquid and Shopify 2.0 features.
- Work with Shopify apps, APIs, and third-party integrations to enhance store functionality.
- Build and customize WordPress websites, including WooCommerce stores, by modifying themes and plugins.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website errors, bugs, and technical issues promptly.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness to improve user engagement.
- Integrate payment gateways, third-party APIs, plugins, and apps seamlessly into Shopify and WordPress platforms.
- Maintain and update existing Shopify and WordPress websites to ensure stability and security.
- Convert design files into fully functional, responsive websites that meet client requirements.
- Ensure websites are secure, stable, and user-friendly at all times.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in Shopify and WordPress development.
- Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with WooCommerce development and customization.
- Familiarity with Shopify and WordPress APIs and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of website speed optimization techniques and technical SEO best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills to efficiently address technical challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.
- A portfolio showcasing live Shopify and WordPress websites is mandatory to demonstrate practical expertise.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information

- Experience with version control systems such as Git/GitHub is preferred.
- Candidates should be genuine developers with skills beyond basic page-building tools like Elementor or drag-and-drop editors. This role demands coding proficiency and a deep understanding of development workflows.
- The position requires working on-site in Karachi to collaborate closely with the team and ensure project success.
- Monthly salary ranges from Rs40,000 to Rs60,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
