We are looking for a successful BI Solutions Manager data driven technologist who will be responsible for developing, implementing and supporting reporting, analytics and solutions to meet the information needs of the company. A resource should have strong organizational, critical thinking and communication skills.
Job Description:
- Responsible for the design, development and implementations of front-end / user facing reporting solutions with Power BI and other analytical tools.
- Lead teams that will build / implement BI dashboards and reports.
- Provide guidance and direction to development / implementation / support resources.
- Plan, lead, organize and control multiple project initiatives in accordance with approved scope and schedule.
- Engage sales, development and operations to validate scope of project as it pertains to technical specifications and data analytics to ensure correct technologies are selected to support customer requirements.
- Assist with task identification and effort estimates for reporting development.
- Enrich experience of customers interacting with data through use of drill downs, filters and visualizations.
- Collaborate with Architecture and security teams to ensure solutions comply with security and authentication standards of the organization.
- Ensure and plan capacity for existing and new solutions.
- Maintain accurate and complete technical architecture documentation.
- Help prepare and execute unit tests.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors or a higher education degree in computer science / engineering.
- 5+ years of working experience with BI Tools.
- Statistical and data mining techniques.
- Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set.
- Knowledge and experience of solving machine learning problems using different languages and techniques.
- Implementing end to end Data Engineering pipelines.
