Siddiqsons Industries (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a diligent Internal Audit Executive to join and help build the internal audit function within its retail and textile businesses. The role involves conducting thorough physical and documentation audits across inventory, fixed assets, sales, debtors, and supply chain management. This position offers unique exposure across multiple business units and direct reporting to directors, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to audit processes that support operational efficiency and compliance. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of audit experience, preferably within retail or manufacturing sectors, and hold qualifications such as BCom, Inter CA, Inter CMA, or completed articleship at a practicing firm.
Responsibilities
The Internal Audit Executive performs comprehensive audits focusing on physical assets and supporting documentation in various operational areas including inventory controls, fixed assets, sales transactions, debtor accounts, and supply chain functions. The position requires the preparation of detailed audit reports to communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to the audit manager and the audit committee. By identifying discrepancies and areas for improvement, the executive helps ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Additionally, this role supports the development and strengthening of internal audit procedures to align with best practices and business growth.

This position does not involve managing a team but requires collaboration with various departments to gather information and verify operational integrity. The executive must apply critical thinking to assess controls effectively and provide valuable insights that lead to risk mitigation. The role demands high attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive business information.
