Know about Your Role!
The job responsibilities include:
- Identify & reproduce bugs in released software in a QA environment as well as communicate replication steps, resolutions and workarounds to the development teams.
- Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria to determine test strategy including risk analysis and prioritization.
- Perform testing of software at different layers of the architecture including UI, Platform Services & Devices
- Develop custom applications/tools in C++/Python to test software SDKs and to execute & test system level test cases.
- Review all requirements and create a test strategy for a project.
- Create test plans to thoroughly cover scenarios for new feature work.
- Communicate results of software testing efforts to the rest of the team through test reports and Jira.
- Validate that the user expectations are achieved during the testing process.
- Clearly report the status of assigned tasks and testing efforts to managers and business stakeholders.
- Design, develop and implement automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Establish virtual environments to host service functionality and Injection of simulation data-sets as service input parameters.

The profile requirements are:
- 3+ years of professional experience as SQE in both manual and automation capacity
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent field of engineering
- Ability to comprehend multi-tier system architecture, and translate test requirement documents into appropriate test solutions
- Understand the full scope of regression, BVA, positive and negative, white box and black box, load and functional testing methodologies
- Experience with Test Management, Defect Tracking tools and code repositories like JIRA
- Experience with automation Testing Frameworks in any of these i.e., Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, BDD, Gherkins or similar technologies
- Experience with RestAPI testing and hands on experience with any popular tools like POSTMAN or ReadyAPI
- Experience in testing of C++/Python SDKs
- Debugging, analytical & critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
