Production Manager

SiliconWhiz seeks an experienced Production Manager to oversee the daily production activities within the company. This role focuses on managing production schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring all processes meet quality and efficiency standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership and organizational skills, with a background in production planning and inventory management. Although team management experience is not mandatory, the role requires effective coordination with various departments to maintain seamless operations and timely completion of production orders. The Production Manager is responsible for monitoring production targets, maintaining workplace safety, and resolving any production-related issues promptly. The role requires hands-on involvement in managing raw materials and resources, optimizing workflow, and implementing best practices such as Lean Manufacturing principles. Experience in the textile or manufacturing industry is preferred, as is proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning systems and root cause analysis techniques to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities

Plan and manage daily production activities and schedules to meet production targets and deadlines.
Supervise and coordinate production staff, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production procedures.
Monitor production efficiency, quality metrics, and workflow to optimize operations.
Ensure timely completion of production orders and maintain accurate production records.
Manage inventory and raw materials, coordinating with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement root cause analysis to resolve operational issues.
Maintain workplace safety standards and enforce compliance with safety regulations.
Prepare and present regular production reports to management.
Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, quality control, and logistics to streamline production processes.
Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing practices to reduce waste and improve productivity.
Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to track production progress and resource allocation.
