We are the technology arm of an established furniture retail business.
We are looking to extend our in-house tech team to build and maintain our internal software, apps and tools through which we can manage our as well as our affiliates’ business.
About Role
We are looking for a Senior Frontend / React Native Developer who is passionate about building responsive and clean frontend for both web and mobile platforms.
This role is at the center of our new frontend team and requires a skilled individual who can translate our wireframes / ideas / sketches in the form of working frontend interface.
The ideal candidate will also be coordinating and communicating with backend developers, and work hand in hand with them to get the required data (from API endpoints) and use it to power the frontend interface.
Responsibilities
- Craft crisp looking, responsive, and dynamic UIs for both desktop and mobile platforms.
- Use data-driven development methodologies: fetch data from multiple API resources and bring life to the frontend.
- Take care of overall code optimality and mentor junior developers in writing solid optimal code.
Skills
- Fluent in JavaScript and at least one of its web frameworks (React / React Native, Vue, Native Vue, etc.)
- 2-3 years of experience in building web-based dashboards and mobile apps.
- 2-3 years of experience in building API-driven, data-oriented web applications, user authentication systems, etc.
- Exceptional skills in putting together a clean looking UI (HTML/CSS/Bootstrap/etc.) with minimum assistance.
- Ability to translate wireframes and sketches into simplistic web interfaces.
Educational/Portfolio Requirements
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Arts related domain.
- A set of at least 1 or 2 portfolio links (which showcase your work). Bonus points for a Github profile and code samples.
