We are seeking an experienced Contracts/Commercial professional to manage and administer Operation & Maintenance (O&M) contracts and related subcontracts within large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management, claims, variations, subcontract administration, cost control, formal correspondence, and negotiation. This role requires a proactive individual capable of supporting dispute avoidance and providing comprehensive contract administration and management reporting. The position is based on-site and offers a competitive monthly salary.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer Operation & Maintenance (O&M) contracts along with all associated subcontracts.
- Manage contractual correspondence, including notices, variations, claims, and payment matters.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks effectively.
- Support dispute avoidance strategies and ensure smooth contract administration.
- Prepare and maintain management reports related to contract performance and compliance.
- Negotiate contract terms and variations to protect the organization’s interests.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on contractual obligations.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior Contracts or Commercial management role.
- Strong expertise in O&M contracts, claims management, subcontract administration, cost control, formal correspondence, and negotiation.
- Excellent written English skills, including contract drafting and analytical capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Postgraduate qualification in Contract or Commercial Management is highly desirable.
- Experience in industries such as large-scale water infrastructure, power generation, utilities, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), or long-term O&M projects.
- Background working with Independent Power Producers (IPPs), water utilities, or engineering consultancies. Preference will be given to candidates who have represented contractors or operators on complex infrastructure projects.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs28,385.21 to Rs171,786.18.
- Work location requires in-person attendance, providing direct engagement with project teams and stakeholders.
