Site Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Engineer to support the Construction Manager in overseeing and managing all construction site operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and hands-on experience in construction management. This role requires the capability to independently manage the entire site in the absence of the Construction Manager, ensuring smooth progress and adherence to project standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, and managing daily construction activities.
- Take full charge of the construction site when the Construction Manager is unavailable.
- Supervise site engineers, sub-engineers, foremen, supervisors, contractors, and labor teams.
- Monitor construction progress to ensure timely completion according to project schedules.
- Ensure all construction work complies with quality standards, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate civil works including roads, drainage, sewerage, infrastructure, and other development activities.
- Oversee manpower, machinery, construction materials, and equipment on site.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and relevant departments to facilitate smooth execution of work.
- Identify and resolve routine site issues promptly to avoid delays.
- Maintain daily progress reports and provide regular updates to the Construction Manager.
- Enforce site safety procedures and uphold construction standards consistently.

Required Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in construction site management and supervision.
- Strong practical knowledge of civil construction and infrastructure development.
- Proven ability to manage site operations, supervise teams, and coordinate with contractors effectively.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for site operations in the absence of the Construction Manager.
- Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- A Civil Engineering degree or a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Engineering is preferred, depending on practical experience and technical capability.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Previous experience working on housing societies or large-scale development projects is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is recommended for this level of responsibility.
