Position: Site Supervisor – Civil Engineering

The Site Supervisor – Civil Engineering will oversee daily civil construction activities at project sites, ensuring all work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, quality standards, and project timelines. This role also involves supporting tender preparation, quantity estimation, measurements, contractor billing, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily civil construction operations on site.
- Ensure all work complies with approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
- Take accurate site measurements and maintain detailed records of completed work.
- Prepare and verify Measurement Books (MBs), quantities, and contractor bills.
- Assist in preparing and verifying BOQs, rate analysis, cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work thoroughly.
- Support senior engineers and project managers in tendering and quotation preparation.
- Monitor material usage, manpower deployment, equipment, and overall site progress.
- Inspect the quality and workmanship of civil works, reporting any deficiencies promptly.
- Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports and maintain all project documentation.
- Identify variations, additional work, and deviations from the approved BOQ.
- Liaise with clients and consultants regarding measurements, inspections, and progress updates.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and site procedures.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, measurements, bills, work orders, and site instructions.
- Support project leadership in meeting project targets, timelines, and budget constraints.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil or B.Tech Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant experience in civil construction and site supervision.
- Practical knowledge of site supervision, quantity measurement, billing, BOQ preparation, and tendering processes.
- Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOQs accurately.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with rate analysis, quantity take-off, and contractor billing is preferred.
- Excellent coordination, documentation, and communication skills.

Compensation
Monthly salary range: Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 125,000.

Work Location
This position requires in-person attendance at the project site in Lahore.
