Looking for an experienced .NET Developer to maintain and enhance existing applications built on ASP.NET, backed by SQL Server and MySQL. You will be working across the full stack from database design to front-end on established codebases, so comfort in reading, refactoring, and extending existing projects is essential.

Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using ASP.NET (Web Forms, MVC, and Web API)
Design, write, and optimize queries and schemas across SQL Server and MySQL
Build and consume RESTful web services and APIs
Refactor and modernize legacy code while maintaining stability
Collaborate with team members using version control and code review workflows
Test, debug, and troubleshoot across browsers and environments

Qualifications

Proven professional experience developing applications in .NET / .NET Core using C#
Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms and Web API (maintaining Web Forms; building/consuming Web APIs)
Strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC, including:
-- Razor view engine and layouts, partial views, and view components
-- Routing, model binding, and validation
-- Controllers, action filters, and middleware in the request pipeline
-- State management via ViewBag, ViewData, and TempData
Solid understanding of the MVC, MVVM, and MVP patterns and when to apply them
Object-relational mapping experience plus writing raw SQL and stored procedures
Strong RDBMS skills with both MySQL and SQL Server
Experience designing and implementing web services / REST APIs
Proficiency with Windows and IIS (deployment, app pools, configuration)
Comfort refactoring existing codebases and paying down technical debt
Familiarity with package managers, primarily NuGet
Experience with Visual Studio
Version control with Git; branching, merging, and resolving conflicts
Front-end proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with responsive design and frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind
Cross-browser testing and debugging in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari using browser dev tools
Understanding of SOLID principles, dependency injection, and clean code practices
Cloud experience with Azure or AWS etc
Experience with Blazor, SignalR, or Razor Pages
API documentation tooling such as Swagger / OpenAPI
Authentication/authorization and awareness of common web security risks
Familiarity with async/await and asynchronous programming
TypeScript, jQuery, or a modern JS framework (React, Angular, Vue)
