SKSK Developers is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with at least five years of professional experience to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time. This role requires an individual with strong expertise in cost estimation, contract management, and risk management. The Quantity Surveyor will lead a team of four professionals, fostering collaboration and maintaining high standards in all quantity surveying activities. The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to prepare tender documents, conduct quantity takeoffs, and oversee contract administration. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills and be agile in addressing challenges that arise during the project lifecycle. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and proficiency in construction law and budgeting to ensure project success and minimize financial risks.
Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed cost estimation and prepare accurate budgets for construction projects to ensure financial control and cost-efficiency.
  • Manage and administer construction contracts, including contract negotiations, variations, and claims to ensure compliance with contractual terms.
  • Prepare comprehensive Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documentation to support procurement processes.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and measurement of construction works to verify valuations and progress payments.
  • Lead the tendering and procurement process by evaluating bids and recommending suitable contractors and suppliers.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate financial and project risks.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to monitor project progress, control costs, and resolve any issues that impact project delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of four quantity surveying professionals, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality output.
  • Ensure compliance with construction law and industry standards in all contracts and project documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce regular financial and progress reports to support project decision-making.
  • Engage effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to maintain clear communication and strong professional relationships.
  • Continuously improve quantity surveying processes to drive efficiency and support the companys objectives.
