Sky Troopers Associates is seeking a reliable and motivated Bike Delivery Rider to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate is responsible for delivering packages promptly and safely to various locations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent navigation and route planning skills to ensure timely deliveries and effective communication to coordinate with the dispatch team and customers. As a Bike Delivery Rider at Sky Troopers Associates, you will play a critical role in maintaining the company's reputation for efficient and dependable deliveries. You will be entrusted with managing multiple deliveries each day, ensuring that packages are handled with care and delivered on schedule. Although this role does not include team management responsibilities, it demands a high level of independence and the ability to perform under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to deliver packages promptly.
- Safely operate a bike to make deliveries in various weather and traffic conditions.
- Load and unload delivery items carefully to avoid damage.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
- Manage delivery documentation accurately, including proof of delivery and any required signatures.
- Maintain the bike in good working condition by performing routine checks and reporting any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure personal and public safety.
- Provide friendly and courteous service to customers to uphold the company's positive image.
- Handle and resolve minor delivery problems or escalate issues appropriately.
- Keep track of delivery schedules and maintain punctuality throughout the workday.
