We are seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer proficient in Figma to join our team on a part-time basis. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly designs that enhance the overall user experience of our digital products. Your primary focus will be on designing intuitive interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and user needs.
- Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications using Figma.
- Create wireframes, interactive mockups, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging design technologies.
- Ensure design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines throughout the development process.
- Collaborate with developers to implement designs and provide necessary design assets.
- Assist in creating design documentation, such as style guides and design patterns.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.
- Proficiency in Figma, including the ability to create design systems, components, and interactive prototypes.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Strong visual design skills with an eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and designing for multiple platforms (web and mobile).
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions to stakeholders.
Work Schedule and Compensation: This position is part-time, with flexible working hours to accommodate your availability. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and negotiated based on an hourly rate.
