- Proactively engage in threat hunting using behavioral analytics to detect hidden or persistent threats within the network.
- Analyze malware behavior in sandbox environments to identify Indicators of Compromise (IoCs).
- Correlate data across multiple log sources such as Firewalls, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Cloud logs to reconstruct attacker movements.
- Fine-tune Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) correlation rules and alert thresholds to enhance detection accuracy and reduce false positives for Tier 1 analysts.
- Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to implement security patches and configuration changes as needed.
- Develop and maintain automated playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for SOC operations.
- Integrate external threat intelligence feeds to stay updated on emerging threats and zero-day exploits.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience, with at least two years as a SOC analyst.
- Age limit: Maximum 40 years (including a five-year general age relaxation; no further relaxation applicable).
- Experience working with various log sources and security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and sandbox environments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Certifications related to Incident Handling, SOC operations, or offensive security are highly desirable.
- Candidates with advanced degrees such as MSc, MS, MPhil, or BE in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields will be given preference.
- The position offers placement at PPS-8 grade/pay scale.
- Two vacancies are available for qualified candidates.
- The application deadline is October 12, 2026.
