Social Compliance Executive

A leading denim manufacturing and export facility in Karachi is seeking a full-time Social Compliance Executive to join their team. This role focuses on ensuring adherence to social compliance standards within the factory environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring factory-floor operations, identifying compliance gaps, and driving corrective actions to maintain high standards. The position requires close collaboration with various departments, including HR, to support audit processes, documentation, training initiatives, and reporting. This is an on-site, morning shift role offering a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular factory-floor monitoring to ensure compliance with social and labor standards.
- Identify gaps in compliance and follow up on corrective actions to address these issues effectively.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation and processes meet required standards.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports on compliance status and improvement measures.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to implement training programs related to social compliance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing insights and recommendations based on audit findings.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and local regulations concerning labor practices and workplace safety.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in social compliance or factory compliance roles.
- Strong understanding of social compliance standards, labor laws, and audit procedures.
- Ability to work effectively on-site during morning shifts.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage documentation and interdepartmental coordination.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience in the denim or textile manufacturing industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with international compliance standards such as SA8000, BSCI, or similar frameworks.
