Social Media Assistant

Sparking Asia, a dynamic and expanding digital services company based in Rawalpindi, is seeking a creative and organized Social Media Assistant to join their team on-site at Kohistan Tower, Saddar. This full-time role offers shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM or 4 PM to 12 AM. The position is ideal for freshers eager to develop their skills in social media management, with comprehensive training provided to the right candidate. The Social Media Assistant will play a vital role in enhancing the company’s online presence and engaging with a diverse audience across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Create, schedule, and publish content on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X.
- Write engaging captions, hashtags, and short-form copy aligned with the brand voice.
- Assist in planning and maintaining a monthly content calendar.
- Respond to comments and direct messages while monitoring brand mentions.
- Produce and edit graphics, photos, and short videos including Reels, Stories, and TikToks.
- Appear on camera for video content and brand promotions.
- Track social media performance metrics and prepare simple weekly reports.
- Conduct research on trends, competitors, and new content ideas.
- Support the marketing team with campaigns and promotional activities.

Required Qualifications
- Freshers are encouraged to apply; no prior professional experience is necessary.
- Comfortable and confident appearing on camera.
- Strong written English skills with good grammar and a professional tone.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Basic proficiency in graphic and video editing tools like Canva and CapCut.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Creative mindset with an awareness of current social media trends.
- Reliable internet connection and a professional work setup.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing social media accounts through personal projects, internships, or freelance work.
- Knowledge of social media scheduling tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, or Meta Business Suite.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and paid advertising.
- Skills in photography or video editing.
- Interest in IT, web development, or digital marketing fields.
