Social Media Content Creator

AusPak International, Pakistan’s largest educational consultancy and the sole licensed career counseling organization authorized to use the “Future Unlimited” brand of AusTrade (an Australian Government body), has been supporting Pakistani students since 1995 in pursuing education opportunities in Australia. The company offers comprehensive services including counseling, application assistance, visa guidance, and arrival support through its Melbourne-based onshore office. This full-time, onsite position based in Lahore seeks a Social Media Content Creator to oversee AusPak International’s daily social media activities. The role involves planning, creating, publishing, and monitoring content across multiple platforms. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with marketing, counseling, design, and video teams to produce engaging and relevant content that enhances AusPak’s online presence, raises awareness of its services, and drives business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, develop, and publish engaging content on AusPak’s social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Generate creative content ideas, captions, visual concepts, and short-form videos targeted at prospective students and their families.
- Write scripts for reels and other video formats, highlighting student stories and service-related information.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create content for social media advertising campaigns.
- Maintain and manage a content calendar, coordinating timelines and approvals with relevant teams.
- Analyze competitor content, platform trends, and audience interests to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide clear creative briefs and direction to graphic designers and video editors, reviewing content to ensure quality and alignment with brand messaging.
- Work closely with counseling and marketing teams to develop campaigns and ensure accurate communication of AusPak’s services.
- Manage daily publishing schedules and monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and audience engagement.
- Track content and campaign performance, prepare regular reports, and use insights to optimize future content strategies.
- Support social media initiatives aimed at increasing brand awareness, engagement, and interest in AusPak’s offerings.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 4 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a related field.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, capable of crafting clear, engaging captions and video scripts.
- Proven experience in creating social media content, including short-form videos, posts, and visual concepts.
- Ability to plan and manage content calendars and coordinate collaborative workflows.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content formats, and current trends relevant to student audiences.
- Proficiency in using analytics and insights tools to assess performance and recommend improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Urdu is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, onsite office environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
