The Social Media Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. This role is pivotal in managing and expanding Rohi News’s presence across various social media platforms. The executive will be responsible for planning, creating, and publishing daily content that aligns with the channel’s editorial priorities. Monitoring social media trends, breaking news, and audience engagement is essential to optimize posts and maintain active interaction with followers. The role also involves responding to comments when appropriate and supporting live coverage during major events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow Rohi News’s social media channels by planning and publishing daily content aligned with editorial goals.
- Monitor social media trends, breaking news, and audience engagement to optimize content performance.
- Respond to audience comments and foster community interaction in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with newsroom teams to promote programs, exclusive reports, and special segments while maintaining brand consistency.
- Ensure all social media content adheres to journalistic standards and reflects the channel’s credibility.
- Support live social media coverage of major news events to enhance viewer engagement.
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations to improve reach and audience interaction.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in social media marketing and social media optimization (SMO).
- Proven ability to plan and execute social media campaigns with practical experience in media planning.
- Excellent writing skills tailored for social media posts, captions, and short-form content across different platforms.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with editorial teams and represent the brand professionally online.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and platform insights to inform content strategy.
- Solid understanding of news media, current affairs, and digital journalism best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and adapt quickly to breaking news situations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
