This full-time remote position is for a Social Media Manager and YouTube Video Editing Expert to support the trauma centre’s official channels. The role focuses on developing and implementing social media strategies across various platforms, including creating content calendars, designing campaign concepts, and fostering community engagement. The individual will ensure consistent and professional representation of the centre while managing daily postings and monitoring performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and execute social media content across platforms to maintain active and engaging channels.
- Develop and manage content calendars and campaign concepts tailored to the trauma centre’s goals.
- Monitor social media performance using analytics tools, track key metrics, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Respond promptly and professionally to audience interactions to build and maintain community engagement.
- Produce and edit YouTube videos, including assembling footage, adding graphics and captions, optimizing thumbnails and titles, and ensuring all content aligns with institutional guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to verify the accuracy of medical and organizational information shared on social media.
- Stay informed about the latest social media platform best practices, trends, and algorithm updates to maximize reach and engagement.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.

Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), including experience managing profiles, campaigns, and analyzing performance data.
- Strong skills in content strategy and writing, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and engaging health-related content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams and interaction with online audiences.
- Experience with YouTube video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent, along with basic graphic design skills for creating compelling thumbnails.
- Knowledge of platform-specific best practices, SEO techniques for YouTube, and strategies for audience growth.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Prior experience managing social media or video content for healthcare organizations, public sector entities, or nonprofit groups is highly advantageous.
- Educational background in Marketing, Media Studies, Communications, Film, or related fields is preferred, though equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated success in growing YouTube channels and social media accounts, showcasing a proven track record of increasing audience engagement and reach.
