Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager position at Rough Cut is a full-time, on-site role located in Lahore. This role involves developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and audience engagement across multiple platforms. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating and scheduling content, managing social media calendars, writing captions and short-form copy, and working closely with creative teams to produce compelling visuals and video assets. Monitoring performance metrics, analyzing campaign outcomes, and optimizing strategies to improve reach and conversions are key aspects of this role. Additionally, the manager will handle community engagement by responding to comments and messages, staying updated on platform trends and best practices, and collaborating with marketing and design teams to maintain consistent brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and optimize social media campaigns across major platforms to grow brand presence and engagement.
- Create, schedule, and publish posts aligned with the social media calendar.
- Write clear, engaging captions and short-form content tailored to each platform.
- Coordinate with creative teams to develop visuals and video content that support social media objectives.
- Monitor social media performance metrics and analyze campaign results to inform strategy adjustments.
- Manage community interactions by responding to comments and messages promptly and professionally.
- Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to ensure innovative and effective content delivery.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and design teams to ensure cohesive and consistent brand messaging across all channels.

Required Qualifications
- Proven skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) for planning, executing, and refining campaigns.
- Strong communication and writing abilities to produce engaging content and interact effectively with internal teams and online audiences.
- Experience in content strategy development, including defining content pillars and aligning social media activities with business goals.
- Familiarity with analytics tools, social media scheduling platforms, and basic graphic or video editing software.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience managing social media for agencies, creative studios, or brands is highly advantageous.
- A relevant degree or certification in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field is desirable.
