Social Media Specialist & Content Creator

Yugo (Pvt) Ltd. is seeking a creative and results-oriented Social Media Specialist & Content Creator to join our dynamic team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, video production, and audience engagement. This role requires someone who is trend-aware, comfortable on camera, and capable of managing social media platforms from content planning and production through publishing and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective social media strategies and content plans across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Create engaging content including Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, Facebook posts, Stories, and LinkedIn updates. Plan, shoot, edit, and publish high-quality photo and video content. Generate creative concepts, video scripts, captions, hooks, and campaign ideas. Research social media trends, viral formats, hashtags, and audience preferences to keep content relevant. Manage daily posting schedules and maintain content calendars. Ensure consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all channels. Monitor engagement metrics such as reach, impressions, and follower growth, and analyze performance to recommend improvements. Engage with followers and assist in community management. Conduct competitor and market research to identify new content opportunities. Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns and stay updated on the latest platform algorithms and trends.

Content creation duties include producing professional photo and video content using smartphones and cameras, creating compelling short-form videos, writing engaging captions, headlines, scripts, and calls-to-action. Edit videos using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software, and design graphics using Canva or comparable platforms. All content must meet professional quality and brand standards. The candidate should also be comfortable appearing on camera when required.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, or a related field is essential. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Digital Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred. Strong knowledge of major social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn is required. Candidates must have a solid understanding of social media marketing and content strategy, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong copywriting and storytelling abilities. Familiarity with social media analytics and performance metrics is important. Practical experience in video editing and content production is necessary, along with proficiency in CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools. The role demands creativity, attention to detail, a strong visual sense, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Awareness of current digital and social media trends is also crucial.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Candidates with expertise in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, Instagram and TikTok marketing, short-form video production, video editing, content strategy, copywriting, social media analytics, community management, photography, videography, SEO, and hashtag research will be preferred.
