- The Contracts Manager will provide legal support in the areas of contract drafting and negotiations, legal and policy compliance review, contract administration and process management, and other legal matters that arise.The Contracts Manager collaborates closely with all commercial facets of our organization as it expands within the US and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to Review, draft, revise, interpret, and negotiate a broad range of technology contract documents partnership agreements, vendor and work for hire contracts, consulting agreements, statements of work, nondisclosure agreements, reseller, referral and distribution agreements in accordance with corporate policy.
- Analyzes significant and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies, business unit procedure and communicates results to the team.
- Develops negotiation strategy and leads negotiation team on complex contractual issues.
- Assist in developing standards for contracts, general language and provisions.
- Manage and meet aggressive internal SLAs, and help juggle priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Identify and promote process-enhancement through gap analyses between existing product policies and procedures and business activities
- Serve as primary organizational contact for vendor contract negotiations.
- Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues.
- Establish and maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders and suppliers including effectively managing contract enquiries, issues, disputes, variations, and risks and undertaking negotiations with suppliers as required.
- Analyzes new laws, regulations and contract trends for potential impact on business unit goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience managing contracts and agreements
- BBA/MBA in Supply chain / procurement from reputable organization
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive knowledge as an analyst or specialist of contract documentation, negotiation, redlining, interpretation, legal implementations, storage and maintenance.
- Complex understanding of business and legal contract terms and contract risk mitigation.
- Superior interpersonal skills with demonstrated teaming ability to work well with peers, all levels of management, and external resources in a virtual team environment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high activity environment, and able to juggle many matters at once and quickly shift from one situation or task to another.
