Software Developer-(DevOps-Digital Ocean)

We are seeking a skilled Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join our team in Islamabad. This full-time, on-site role involves hands-on work with cloud infrastructure, automation, deployment processes, and production systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability of cloud environments and facilitate smooth application transitions from development to production. This position requires strong troubleshooting abilities, collaboration with development teams, and a proactive approach to improving infrastructure and deployment workflows. Working hours are Sunday to Thursday, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and enhance infrastructure across Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and DigitalOcean.
- Build and maintain automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Manage deployments across Development, Staging, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production environments.
- Work extensively with Docker and containerized workloads.
- Administer both Linux and Windows servers to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure and production issues promptly.
- Configure and maintain DNS, SSL certificates, firewalls, load balancers, IP addresses, and access controls.
- Monitor system health, application performance, logs, and operational alerts to maintain service reliability.
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery processes to safeguard critical data.
- Collaborate closely with developers during releases, deployments, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
- Continuously improve infrastructure reliability, security, performance, and deployment efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in DevOps or Cloud Operations roles.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, GCP, and DigitalOcean cloud platforms.
- Proven ability to build and manage CI/CD pipelines effectively.
- Strong Linux and Windows server administration skills.
- Solid experience working with Docker and containerized applications.
- Practical knowledge of cloud infrastructure and production troubleshooting.
- Experience managing DNS, firewalls, load balancers, SSL, IP management, and access controls.
- Familiarity with supporting multiple environments including Development, Staging, UAT, and Production.
- Experience with monitoring tools, logging, backups, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills combined with strong communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, ARM Templates or Bicep, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, cloud security, cloud cost optimization, or enterprise/financial applications is considered a plus.

This role is critical as it involves managing the infrastructure that supports real-world applications, going beyond simple script maintenance or dashboard monitoring. The position offers the opportunity to work with cloud platforms, automation tools, deployment processes, and production troubleshooting while collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure system reliability and security.

Please note, this is an on-site position based in Islamabad (I-10/3). Candidates must be able to work from the office location during the specified working hours.
